In Retro 6 Update
Ok , so first of all, In Retrospect 5 wasn't really what I hoped it would be... but still, no regrets. I did a little reminiscing of my own, and realized the mere fact that In Retro 5 turned out this way made it stand out from the rest of them, and i decided to do a recap of all the In Retro's so far, and what made them memorable:
In Retrospect 1 starred Korean (daw) Princess of the Moon Nadine in what turned out to be the longest In Retro yet. Lasting for about 5 years I think, In Retrospect 1 is the only one whose story didn't revolve around the undying "A Love Like No Other" novel by me. This story, instead, involved my band before and --- in Fil11 Postmodernismo terms --- ang panggagago ko sa aking SJCS batch. LOL well, its a long story, but those who lived through it would know the basic storyline... on how i INTENTIONALLY gave out fake copies of our supposedly CD album, and filled it with random other songs instead of our real songs. Although we came up with a few originals only, in my batch's eyes, we were a rocking band. LOL... yeah... that was In Retro 1.
What was special with In Retrospect 2 was that it wasn't the supposed "Prince Richard of Earth" and the Princess of the Moon starring... instead a certain Prince Dominic found his true love in the person of Princess Kylie. This one followed the classical storyline of A Love Like No Other, and started somewhere in the duration of In Retro 1.
Before In Retro 5, In Retrospect 3 had the title for shortest one. It started roughly when 2 ended, and it was wrapped up alongside 1, just when the succeeding 4 was coming into place. Known as the "Siena girl" by my archenemy in high school, Princess Ira of the Moon Kingdom was the first one to travel to Trysidia to be with Prince Richard after the latter's exile. Plans for the much-hoped Lemon scenes in A Love Like No Other started here, but will not be complete for a while.
In Retrospect 4 has legendary status. The famous 100+ comment entry was vital in the conclusion of both In Retro 1 and 3. Featuring the elegant Princess Leah (again, for those not familiar with In Retro 4, no, not a parody of Princess Leia from Star Wars. it's just a coincidence), In Retro 4 not only revolved around the romantic A Love Like No Other, it also had side stories in Shoujo-ai novels Time, Waiting for You and In Retrospect of the Moments We Shared - Writer's Cut. The 4th Princess of the Moon Kingdom was the one to turn down the supposedly planned Lemon/Lime scenes for A Love. There was also a real world Princess Lita, the best friend of Moon Princess, and a real Prince Micah, the bad guy/enemy of Earth Prince. Princess Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto were also there. In Retro 4 proved to be the most successful one yet. It was so successful, I was actually challenged to end it on time, and not exceed my alloted time limit.
One word best describes In Retrospect 5, fast-paced. Set-up rate, length, turn of events, wrap-up, all happened in an amazing 4 month period, a record speed sailing past In Retro 3's record. Korean (hindi daw) Princess Cherry starred alongside Earth Prince, but there was no Prince Micah. Hit by an amazing idea, i decide to change the roles a bit. How nice would it be if I were to play Prince Micah? That would be special... but then I would have to look for a replacement for Earth Prince. There were two possible candidates, but I finally chose one. In Retro 5 involved my college classmates, who were still unfamiliar with the trademark In Retrospects that I do. This generated much confusion at first, even some hostility, but it was easy to overlook as a mere obstacle. At first, I treated In Retro 5 as a failure, as unsuited to the Gallery of In Retro Fame. But now, after half a year, I have finally accepted it as a worthy memory that I will forever cherish. The low comment hit of 52 doesn't matter, its not the attention I desire. It's the memory that's important, and this surely was something that doesn't happen everyday. In Retro 5 is one-of-a-kind... and although its possible, I wouldn't try to recreate it anytime soon. That's how special this one is.

I am happy to announce that In Retrospect 6 is already underway. With 4 worthy candidates for the title 6th Princess of the Moon Kingdom, In Retro 6 will even feature the much anticipated Lemon/Lime scenes that have been delayed for so long. Yes, In Retro 6 will have a GP version, and a M version. (its about time!!! LOL) I won't reveal other information just yet... all I can say is it's gonna be a rockin' addition!!!!
